Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio HD Pro
The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Pro includes all the features of the Plus and Mini models, but at a full rack width size and many more features! The HD Pro model has space for two SSD slots in addition to the two SD card slots featured on smaller models. This means you can instantly move media cards between different models of HyperDeck Studio lineup. You get the nice transport control buttons as well as a machined metal search dial with electronic clutch for limiting rotation when in shuttle mode. There are also dedicated buttons for jog, shuttle and scroll search dial modes. The rear panel has extra space so the timecode connections have been upgraded to XLR connectors.
The Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is in a single rack unit, so you can quickly place it in your standard equipment rack. Even though it's only 1RU, you still get very powerful
features, such as 6G-SDI in and out, HDMI in and out, dual SSD drive slots, dual SD card media
slots, SDI loop out, gigabit Ethernet, USB-C, built-in sync and timecode generators, front panel controls and
both AC and DC power inputs. You can even connect the USB to a computer
as HyperDeck Studio HD Pro also works like a webcam so you can use any video
software!
The Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio HD Pro records to two SSD slots and two SD card slots, which enable virtually endless recordings. The HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is housed in a 1RU rackmountable unit. It features a front panel button control and a jog/shuttle wheel for an analog scrubbing feel. RS-422 control is supported for external control. You can also control the unit over gigabit Ethernet via the RJ-45 connector. An integrated LCD on the front panel allows you to monitor the video, along with a headphone socket and built in speaker.
6G-SDI for SD, HD, and UHD
HyperDeck Studio HD Pro features multi rate 6G-SDI connections so you can connect it to virtually any camera, monitor or SDI router and work with all SD and HD formats up to 1080/60p, and UHD formats up to 2160/30p.
The high quality HDMI connection lets you play back to big screen televisions, digital projectors and more! In addition, there's an RS-422 deck control connection, Ethernet for uploading files to it via FTP and a built in 110-240V AC power supply. There's even an SDK and easy to use Ethernet protocol documented in the instruction manual that lets you integrate HyperDeck Studio HD Pro into your custom systems and software!
