The DaVinci Resolve 19 cut page introduces exciting new media player, editing, and replay features. It handles common video file formats, enabling seamless playback of any client-provided files. For broadcast graphics, it supports video files with an alpha channel, outputting as 10-bit SDI fill and key.
The Blackmagic Media Player includes everything needed for broadcast playback. It can be placed on a desktop or rack-mounted using a Blackmagic Universal Rack Shelf. The front panel features an LCD displaying video and audio meter status, including input, video standard, and the depth of the record/playback frame buffer. The audio meter can switch between VU and PPM, and there’s a headphone socket, speaker, and a speaker enable button.
With fast Thunderbolt for video capture and playback, along with 10G Ethernet and laptop power over a single cable, the Blackmagic Media Player offers front and rear Thunderbolt connections for both rack mount and laptop computers.
