Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Monitor 3G
When you need low cost monitoring for editing, then UltraStudio Monitor 3G is the perfect device for you. Input via Thunderbolt 3 to monitor out of the 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs. Perfect for using low cost HDMI TVs and projectors for monitoring from popular editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Media Composer, and Adobe Premiere Pro CC, plus high end broadcast graphics and titling systems.
Please note that this item requires a true Thunderbolt 3 connection (typically with the Thunderbolt icon near the connector) on your computer.
The UltraStudio Monitor 3G is NOT compatible with USB 3. Keep the following in mind:
- USB-C port is a type of connector.
- USB 3 is a signal format.
- Thunderbolt 3 is a signal format.
- Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3 are incompatible.
If you do not have a Thunderbolt 3 connector on your computer, this product will not work for you. There is no converter on the market that will make a full USB 3 to Thunderbolt 3 conversion.
